One of Kitchen By Design's latest projects is this fresh kitchen update at our client's home in Johnston, RI! We mentioned this specific kitchen in our 2025 kitchen design trends blog, which you can read by clicking here.

Our designer Adrienne collaborated with our client to create a bright, neutral kitchen with a welcoming atmosphere. Her previous kitchen was moody with dark cabinets, which is why Adrienne suggested installing Fabuwood cabinets in a slightly warmer white paint paired with the same cabinet door in a natural wood finish on the island. Combined with the natural tones and textures of the tile backsplash from Ragno Tile's Amuri Collection, this kitchen design elevates the calming nature of this home.

By placing the white cabinets around the border of the kitchen, the space was significantly brightened while making the island a focal point without being distracting. The island has the microwave built into one side, which frees up counterspace. By putting pull out storage on the prep side of the island, there is plenty of space for chairs on the opposite side.

The honey bronze hardware that our client fell in love with ties in perfectly with the light fixtures and kitchen sink. When designing your dream kitchen, small things such as the handles of your cabinets may seem insignificant. In reality, every little thing is connected! At Kitchens By Design, we will help you make the best design decisions possible when planning your kitchen update.

These subtle details are an excellent way to enhance the classic, airy aesthetic of this kitchen design. Our client is also a warm beverage enthusiast, so we made sure to include a coffee & tea bar!

The Pental Quartz countertop Adrienne helped our client choose is the perfect addition to this design. The delicate veining of the Tramonto slab helps maintain the brightness of the kitchen while enhancing the charming atmosphere of the space.
